Welcome to Chennai! We got to our accommodation gratefully knowing that we got here many hours earlier than planned. I & Z got the two single beds and M & N took the double beds. While N did her yoga classes, we had time to do dress shopping for the wedding in Udaipur. M and N’s friend had an uncle and aunt living here so they helped drive us to some good places to shop for dresses. They had lots of choice, and we chose some traditional Indian dresses, one for each day of the wedding!

Below is some of the many clothing choices at multi-storey Nalli, one of the clothing shops we went to! We needed green, yellow or floral for day 1 and bright colours for day 2, so that helped narrow it down.

We were both happy with our selections, and now all that’s left is looking for jewellery and shoes to match our clothing. 💍👠 But that will be for another blog post!
