There’s a permanent Teamlab’s exhibit in the Osaka Botanic Gardens of basically glowing things and it’s sooo pretty!
When we got there the line was very long – to the point where they had a person with a light up sign that said “This is the end of the line” π – and I was quite concerned how crowded it would be. I mean, this is a Friday night in one of Japan’s major cities after all. I thought we were doing well by buying our tickets in advance this time. Luckily for us, the line moved quickly once inside, despite following a set route, there was plenty of space to enjoy the glowiness π
My personal favourite: the glowing crystal eggs, spread throughout a lit up forest. Apparently they change colour in response to touch/movement and then “communicate” with each other but with so many folks there that was a bit hard to judge. They were, however, very pretty and I really had to try not to take (or post) too many pictures!!

These giant rectangular prisms in the lake are projected with colourful swirls, with music and reflections to enjoy:

There were also a group of large, glowing egg shaped balloons. Again, these communicated colour changes with each other.
(if someone can explain to me the obsession with the peace sign & (my) kids I’d be most grateful!)

Plus some glowing lights on the lake…

And, to top off all the fabulousness π€©, we caught the last few days of the lit up cherry blossom (sakura) display πΈ

It was all very pretty and well worth the complaints from the kids about how late we got home π
how beautiful it all is!
