Obviously, with the kids we aren’t all about culture and fine dining ๐ so we need to throw in some more fun stuff – like VS Park which is sort of physical games, often combined with virtual reality. We got a two hour pass and it was pretty empty so that gave us just enough time to do everything we wanted at least once. Games such as outrun an African animal, human tetris, archery, baseball, rock climbing wall and LOADS more. Personally, I discovered that I cannot outrun a bison and it will eat my butt when it catches me #lifelesson
For “Dynamite Pose” you had to make yourself into the shape on the screen to “fit” through it was harder than it looked but loads of fun.

Another you had to rock a platform side to side to “catch” a falling ball to guide it to the basket before the time ran out.

There was one with two spinning arms at different heights that you had to either duck under or jump over which I completely failed at. I think that being smaller (i.e. kid sized, not just vertically challenged!) gave some an advantage at this!

However, my favourite was a samurai game where you competed against another player to see who could slice the lights the fastest.

For the record, M & N both performed very well and were evenly matched, with equal high scores of 54. One of the staff even clapped – she may have been being sarcastic but I prefer to think that she saw in us some of the ancient samurai ways…
