“Wash to Clean”

So, there’s a lot of talk about Japanese toilets and their features – and they are pretty cool as a general rule. We attended the World Expo today and this was the sign with their toilet controls…

The thing about Japanese toilet culture is that there’s a BIG difference between cold water and warm water, as I discovered on our second day in Japan. Mainly the screams. My screams. Which then caused the kids to try to come into the toilet to see what was going on. Luckily I’d remembered to lock the door 😬

Then, there was extra special toilet we came across in Naoshima had a dry function and a power deodoriser! Alas, time was short and I did not try either so I cannot give a review 😜

  1. I absolutely love the toilets in Japan, the ones that play a lovely tune while you tinkle, the cleanliness of them and you, I think this is a country who does the toilets of the world proud 🤣❤️😁
