It’s common in nice hotels across SE Asia and the Pacific to place fresh flowers to float in a pretty bowl as decorations. Frangipanis, hibiscus, jasmine and more that I don’t know the name of.

This trip we haven’t stayed in many hotels so don’t see it so much. However, in the north east of Thailand we stayed at a friend’s hotel for a few days and they had them about, always looking so pretty so I just couldn’t resist taking pictures and, in the end, I had quite a collection.

So if you need to look at some pretty flowers, here’s your excuse. You can think of it as my Christmas gift to you 🙃
